The first agreement for a coordinated and integrative inter-municipal development of the Alzette valley between, on the one hand, the municipalities of Lintgen, Lorentzweiler, Mersch, Steinsel and Walferdange and, secondly, State of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, represented by the Minister having land in his duties, was officially signed on 13 December 2007. In 2010, the first agreement vin code check concluded for a renewable term of three years, was renewed for a period of 2 years.
The new law of 30 July 2013 on land now opens the possibility for the State to conclude agreements with several contiguous to integrated territorial development, coordinated vin code check and sustainable communities. Indeed, until now legally concluded more or less informal, future common state conventions will have now a legal basis. In this way, the new agreements state municipalities are now one of the main instruments for the implementation of planning policies in an inter scale.
Thus, after five years of successful cooperation, the new agreement, concluded for a period of 5 years renewable, deepens further intercommunal cooperation. Indeed, the new text of the Convention goes further by setting more ambitious targets after 5 years, the achievement vin code check will determine whether the agreement will be extended.
While the first convention was primarily intended to initiate the inter working through the development of several joint projects, the new agreement aims to sustainably anchor inter-reflections approach for territorial planning.
Thus, over the past 5 years, several projects intercommunal vin code check level have emerged, including a mobility concept developed for the communes and conventionnées Leitbild being finalized.
The new agreement extends and deepens the intermunicipal approach to territorial planning for the development of a common as well as the implementation of several projects including guiding the implementation vin code check of inter extending the zone of preparatory study activities "Mierscherbierg" as an area of regional vin code check activities, the concept of mobility "Uelzechtdall", including the management of parking spaces in urban areas (PRM - Parkraummanagement) or housing development.
Supplemented by a coordination unit whose goal is to ensure regular monitoring of the administrative and financial aspects of the agreement, but also an inter-policy committee dealing with matters that concern only common, the new agreement "Uelzechtdall" continues to operate under the same principles, but more effectively than before. The importance of the work that the Contracting Parties undertake to carry out, coupled with increased administrative work justifies vin code check the creation of such a position of coordination by the Convention.
Finally, at the end of 2017, the extension of the Convention will depend on the progress against the objectives that have set the contracting parties, but also the institutionalization of inter-municipal cooperation in the framework of creating a multi-purpose intercommunal syndicate taking over the activities and work of the Convention on the institutional foundations strengthened.
Outside intermunicipal projects that contracting parties are committed to achieving the goal of the new agreement is thus clearly to lead to a systematic approach intermunicipal planning and territorial development. It will achieve the primary objectives of the Convention, namely the promotion of economic competitiveness and employment, improving economic and social cohesion, respect for the natural environment, vin code check improving transport and networks at the regional level and finally promoting the development of quality of life.
