Bumili ako kicker one CVR 12inch 4ohm in parallel so bali 2ohm na siya tama ba? then my amp pag naka bridge is 4ohm recommended minimum. Ano gagawin ko dito? single channel lang ba gamitin ko sa sub ko pero bitin. Please help. Thanks

This way, you use both coils of your sub and both channels runrun of the amp (bridged) as well. Bitin nga lang bass pa rin pero at least walang nabakante na coil/channel and you won't fry your amp.

Thanks You can used it with that amp by stereo mode, do not parallel the subs, just put those two voice coil in every channel so you got stereo mode, ingat lang po sa polarity, anu po ba yang amp nyo, 2 cahnnel or 4 channel? Maybe kelangan ko ng mas maraming detail about dito para mas marami runrun akong maibigay na idea, ilang watts ba yan per channel? Your sub is 400watts rms dual 4ohm.
@thnx for the reply. By the way 4channel ang amp ko 3600 watts nakalagay at bridgeable. Naka power ang 1/2 channel sa front and 3/4 channel runrun sana sa sub. Na try ko bridge malakas pero parang mainit yong amp. At kung using the channel in each coil safe po ba ganito? Paano kung mahina isang channel? Or mas ok ba gamitin left channel lang gamit lang ako Y splitter para sa input ng subwoofer para pareho ang signal?
4 channel means, lahat ng signal output nito is the same, say, 80watts rms times 4 speakers, @4ohms... kung V-12 yan, the 3600watts is the peak combined power na imposibling maabot ng amp kase nasa 12volt current tayo, unstable.. the very option here is that, the stereo mode, safe and effective para sa amp mo, kase naka 4ohms lang, kapag nakaparallel yan, 2ohms na, possible is, mag dc out yang amp katagalan, kaya ng MRV 1507 yan but not for the long run. Palagi kong ginagawa is the stereo mode, THD or the signal to noise ratio is ok there, unlike bridging it, una, power supply mo, maintain mo is 14volts para stable sya dun, pero, if your drawing 300 watts current, sigurado, putok fuse nyan for two or more hours. then the DC out. Stereo mode pare, solve na yan, kung may extra budget ka, go for the mono AMP, mas ok..
Correct me if I'm wrong pero I don't think putting the DVC Sub on two different channel is advisable and safe (Stereo mode)... Not all the time, channels 3 and 4 will send the same signal to make both coils work the same frequency. runrun Most music (R&B for example) are using a flanging runrun effect causing one source (either left or right) to be delayed by a millisecond. Voice coils of speakers only have two movements, up or down. Picture this: Ever heard of some IASCA CDs or the Madonna remastered CD? Borderline's intro for example (as you'll hear it) has this effect of traveling sound from left to right then back to left then right again, it's goal was a moving synthesizer. Now imagine if you put one coil of your sub on say, channel 3 (left) and the other coil on channel 4 (right), runrun each channel will send different frequencies & gains to achieve the output. It will definitely put stress to the Sub's coil as they will move differently but the coils are held together; resulting in fried coil or busted AMP.
Yes, I got you but not in low frequencies, the low pass frequency trowing runrun only mono channel, meaning, never in left or right or rear or front, bass frequencies doesn't have a location, runrun in a perfect room, you never locate the bass, because it's everywhere. if and only if, your amp filters only good low pass, i don't think V-12 can do that because it has a low quality filter unless your using another filter like active crossover or your head unit has a subwoofer output, in a subwoofer output, runrun it sends only low pass signal or mono, so you imagined now if you used these output to the 3&4 channels of your amp, what would be the output? Syempre, mono pa rin, no left in right issue..
